Origin and history
have been raising Schnauzers popular dogs in Germany for centuries. They are hard workers, tough dog to eradicate pests, but also a good friend of the family. (The Giant Schnauzer also emerged of the Standard, and like the miniature, is considered a separate breed.) Today, it is known worldwide as an interesting companion and family dog .
