ORIGIN AND HISTORY
Dachshund was developed in Germany to hunt near the dog hunters, like Basset Hound in France. They are descendants of schweisshund Germany, which is a shorter version of the foot. The Dachshund is also angry at the terrier breeds and spaniels, not just to get a certain quality of hunting, but also kind of hard coat of hair and long hair. He is a true hunting dog - says the German Dachs means "badger", another animal with a sturdy body and short bandy legs. Dachshund has helped hunters and their families since the Middle Ages, doing everything from monitoring the ground and go into the game to protect agriculture. The standard Dachshund bred primarily as a tracker, and used to hunt badgers and wild boar. Thumbnail grew up mostly below the norm for rabbit hunting and going to the ground.

Considering how far you are from your director of vocal source ( human) to start with, it is not surprising that may seem unresponsive to training. As a fellow first level, they want fun, and upbeat, positive approach to training, along with perseverance will win them to do what they ask. Sport or activity that involves repetitive jumping is not the best for dachshunds because of back problems that may develop.
