ORIGIN AND HISTORY
Collie comes in two varieties, rough and smooth, which differ in their type of coat. Both Rough Collie and Smooth share the same story and even breed standards. Grazing developed centuries ago as workers and keep the dogs in Scotland and northern England, it is believed that the name "Collie" is derived from the Scottish black -faced sheep Colleys - assigned to watch the race. For centuries, dogs without Collies work rate remains tight. During the 1860s, on a visit to Scotland, Queen Victoria took an interest in the race and bring some back with him to England. PERSONALITY PROFILE
