ORIGIN AND HISTORY The first Yorkshire Terrier on record is Huddersfeld Ben recognized as the founding father of the breed. Ben was born in 1865 and comes from the region of Yorkshire, northern England, from which the name of the breed. The area is famous for its rugged coal miners and factory workers who need a dog is a bit difficult to keep the bugs under control in mines and textile factories. Particular race consisting of a Yorkie is unknown. It is believed that the Skye Terrier, Maltese, black and tan Manchester Terrier, Terrier Leeds now extinct, and the Dandie Dinmont Terrier is probably the ancestors of the primary. The Yorkshire Terrier is a wonderful dog. Despite its small size, with a heart and a great personality. Yorkie has a fun side, too, and can be mischievous and adorable all at the same time. An energetic and enthusiastic fellow, he remains a true terrier feisty, brave and willing to take on the world.
REQUIREMENTS NOTE:
The Yorkshire Terrier gets his exercise by going everywhere with its owner - after around the house and yard, go for a walk around the block or neighborhood, or play with them. Active by nature, sexual activity and regular visits will keep him happy and fit. Preparation: A Yorkie kept in full coat should be brushed and combed daily to prevent tangles. Facial hair grows a lot, too, and you should make sure your eye on the bread. Many owners prefer to keep hair trimmed, which makes preparation much easier - though still require regular brushing. Yorkie small warehouse and takes less fur, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers. He tends to have problems with their teeth, so it must be cleaned regularly. Life Span: The average life of a Yorkshire Terrier is 12 to 15 years. Training: always be happy to help Yorkie for awards and positive feedback, although it can be stubborn. Lessons should be kept short and simple and often repeated, with ample rewards, before it actually sinks in. He can be difficult to housetrain; persistence and patience is key to success.
